Acid Reflux
Home Remedy
I was originally diagnosed
with acid reflux disease several years ago after experiencing serious heartburn, a chronic cough, trouble
breathing and the regurgitation of several meals. This was very
frustrating for me as it become difficult to sleep at night and severely dampened my enjoyment of
life. After visiting my doctor, I received a basic conventional
treatment of Nexium and used it for a while.
It was an effective treatment
that helped reduce the acid reflux symptoms and was happy with its results. The concern I had was the fact that I would have to continue to use this drug
for the rest of my life. My main concern here was the ongoing cost
of the pills and more importantly, the fear of what this would do to my body in the long run. Many of these types of treatments have been linked or discussed of having the
possible side effect of creating stomach ulcers or helping create a cancerous environment in your
esophagus. As bad as my acid reflux was, I definitely did not want
to trade it for cancer. Therefore, I quit taking my pills and
was fine for about a month. Then, the acid reflux symptoms
gradually returned as the pills provide only a temporary relief.
This lead me on a quest to find out other ways to help treat acid reflux disease.
Aloe Vera
I started hearing about
different home remedies for acid reflux and started to try different ones out. This was an interesting experience because most home remedies are made from
household foods, herbs, and products. In addition, most are readily
available at your local grocery store. After trying out several and
getting pretty good results, I came across some information regarding aloe vera. Apparently, aloe vera can be a very effective home remedy for a number of
ailments, but more importantly, it is also a great acid reflux home remedy.
Ambrotose
I recently started taking one
product called Ambrotose which is made my Mannatech. It has a
number of ingredients, but one of them is an aloe vera extract. I
have started to take this product for a few days and it does not disappoint. It essentially is a powder that can be mixed in water or juice and should be
taken twice a day. I have a seen a significant decrease in my acid
reflux symptoms and eagerly look forward to each day to see if continues to perform. So far, it has managed to keep away my acid reflux symptoms which is a
definite welcome sign for me.
For these reasons, I am
making an endorsement of this product and recommend it to other acid reflux disease sufferers. Naturally, with any acid reflux
home remedy you should discuss it with your doctor; however, I personally have not experienced any
negative side effects. If you are interested acid reflux relief and
are looking for a great acid reflux home remedy, I suggest you look at products that contain this aloe vera
extract.
